As our utility crews work to restore power after storms, we ask for your help in keeping everyone safe.
If you see utility trucks with crews working overhead or on the ground, please turn around and avoid driving down that street. Our crews often have electrical wire, tools, and equipment on the ground—and sometimes across the roadway. Driving over these materials can damage equipment, create additional safety hazards, and delay power restoration for everyone.
If you encounter traffic cones, barricades, or other work zone markers, please do not drive around them or onto the curb to bypass them. They are in place to protect both the public and our crews.
We understand the curiosity to see what's happening, but please observe from a safe distance. Giving our crews the room they need to work safely helps us restore power more quickly and protects everyone involved.
