In-Person Payments
We accept cash, checks, money orders, and major credit or debit cards.
Note: A 2.5% fee applies to credit and debit card payments.
After-Hours Drop Box
A secure drop box is available near the drive-up window for payments outside of regular business hours.

Automatic Bank Payments (AutoPay)
With our AutoPay program, your utility payment is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account each month.
- Payments are deducted on the 20th of each month
- If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, payment will be processed on the next business day
- You will continue to receive a monthly statement for your records

AutoPay Application (PDF)Budget Billing
Budget Billing provides a consistent monthly payment to help manage utility costs throughout the year.
- Available to customers who have lived at their residence for at least 1 year
- Requires a good payment history
- Payment amounts are recalculated annually

Payment Assistance
If you are unable to pay your bill, contact us as soon as possible. Payment arrangements are available but must be made in person.
Low-income customers may qualify for LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program), a federally funded program that helps with home heating costs.
Operation Threshold can assist with applications and provide more information.
Grundy County General Assistance is also available for payment assistance.
